Utah
Last week I travelled to Salt Lake City, UT in the USA for a conference on supercomputing. It was a good trip professionally... I saw many old colleagues, had some good discussions and talks with peer sites. All kinds of good things.
I also got to walk in this again:
I also had to forget what I've been trying so hard to learn in Perth. Look left first and then right. Argh. Looking right may be a hard habit to pick up, but turns out it's harder to forget.
Of course, I shouldn't complain. I got home, after more than 30 hours of travel, went to bed and slept in. And then we went to the beach.
And that was kind of awesome.

Ah! You need to travel 30h to see some snow! ;-)
RépondreSupprimerYep! And I don't mind so much. Not having to shovel snow or dress up as the Michelin Man to go to the store is kind of nice... although it made for a cold stay in Utah since my winter clothes are safely stored in Montreal. Doh!
RépondreSupprimerAny snow staying on the ground in Montreal yet?
