Last week I travelled to Salt Lake City, UT in the USA for a conference on supercomputing. It was a good trip professionally... I saw many old colleagues, had some good discussions and talks with peer sites. All kinds of good things. I also got to walk in this again:

I also had to forget what I've been trying so hard to learn in Perth. Look left first and then right. Argh. Looking right may be a hard habit to pick up, but turns out it's harder to forget. Of course, I shouldn't complain. I got home, after more than 30 hours of travel, went to bed and slept in. And then we went to the beach.

And that was kind of awesome.
